1. GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR ALL PATIENTS

1.1 Agreement

These Terms and Conditions form the basis of the agreement between you and The Hub Glasgow (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By registering with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If there is any conflict between these Terms and our Privacy Policy, these Terms take precedence.

The Rehab Glasgow may update these Terms from time to time. New Terms will apply only to future appointments or treatment plans.

1.2 Consultations & Treatment Plans

Your clinician will assess your condition and recommend a treatment plan. It is your responsibility to ensure the planned treatment reflects your wishes.

If you proceed with treatment:

You may be asked to pay in full if your treatment is within 5 working days

If your care is funded by an insurer or third party, you must settle any shortfall

You may be required to pay a deposit or part-payment toward your care

1.3 Consultants & Clinicians

The Hub Glasgow works with podiatrists, physiotherapists, sports therapists, sports rehabilitators, and allied health professionals.

All clinicians maintain their own professional and medical indemnity insurance. The Hub Glasgow is not liable for any act or omission of independent practitioners, except as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

1.4 Clinical Risks

All clinical procedures carry risks and no outcomes can be guaranteed. If you have any concerns, please discuss these with your clinician.

1.5 Fees & Payments

Unless an alternative arrangement is agreed, The Hub Glasgow standard rates apply.

You are responsible for paying for your care prior to, or immediately following, your appointment.

Payment plans (e.g., memberships, GoCardless agreements) must be honoured for the agreed duration. Early cancellation requires settlement of any outstanding balance.

Payment methods:

Debit/credit card

Cash

Bank transfer

We do not accept cheques.

2. CANCELLATIONS, NON-ATTENDANCE & REFUNDS

2.1 Cancellation by You

If you wish to cancel or reschedule, please give at least 24 hours’ notice.
Failure to do so will result in a late cancellation fee.

If you change your mind about treatment, you will be charged for any care provided and any costs already incurred (including bespoke orthotics or therapy items).

2.2 Refunds

If you have paid in advance, refunds will be issued minus any charges owed. Refunds are issued only to the original payer via electronic transfer.

2.3 Non-Attendance

If you fail to attend without 24 hours’ notice, a non-attendance fee will be applied and must be cleared before further appointments can be offered.

Late arrival may result in your appointment not being carried out. Repeat non-attendance may result in no further appointments being scheduled.

3. CHILDREN RECEIVING TREATMENT

A parent or guardian must accompany all patients under 18.
The responsible adult is bound by these Terms and is responsible for all related fees.

4. CONFIDENTIALITY & DATA PROTECTION

We respect your privacy. All information is treated confidentially in line with our Privacy Policy, available on our website.

By registering or signing consent forms, you agree to the processing of your data as outlined.

Please keep us informed of any changes to your contact details.

5. MEDICAL INSURANCE & THIRD-PARTY PAYERS

5.1 Before Your Treatment

If you have private medical insurance, it is your responsibility to confirm cover with your insurer.

You must provide:

Insurer name

Policy/registration number

Level of cover

Pre-authorisation number

If a sponsor or employer is funding your care, written authorisation must be provided.

5.2 Payment Responsibilities

Even if using insurance, you remain ultimately responsible for payment.

If your insurer or sponsor does not settle the invoice within 30 days, you will be liable for the full outstanding balance.

If your insurer does not cover certain aspects of your treatment, you must pay for these services yourself.

Some items (e.g. crutches, boots, orthoses) may not be covered by insurance.
